Learn the inside secrets found in those $200 ready-to-wear designer shirts as you sew along creating a Tommy Bahama style shirt with perfect topstitching. Discover the secrets to matching fronts and pockets seamlessly. Set perfect convertible shirt collars, pockets, sleeves & designer details, all without a single pin or basting!

You will need to purchase the Islander Shirt #208 pattern if you don't already have it, your fashion fabric, interfacings and buttons. Fashion fabric must be prewashed and cut out before coming to class.

Janet Pray Biography:

Janet Pray has an educational background in business and fine art. Self employed since 1981 as a fibre artist, fibre arts teacher and sewing instructor, she has exhibited her award winning works across the USat many fine juried art fairs, Renaissance Festivals, galleries and boutiques. In 1998 she produced patterns for 3 of her most popular coat and cape designs and in 2002 the first set of three professional shirt patterns, which include revolutionary pattern guides designed with the Islander Sewing Systems techniques.

Ms. Pray authored the new book, "Islander Sewing Systems I, For Personal and Professional Sewing and is the president of The American Sewing Expo, Inc. which produces the largest independent annual Fashion Sewing, Quilting and Fiber Arts Expo in the United States. She recently produced a DVD, “Easy Zippers” featuring Rosebud Badour, a Certified Sewing Instructor with extensive industrial sewing experience.

Refund Policy: If the class is cancelled by us, then you will receive a full refund of course fees and taxes paid. Any items purchased by you for the course will not be refunded or compensated. If you cancel before March 15, 2012, you will receive a refund less a $25.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after March 15, 2012, for any reason.
