This splendid variegated "Effect" design is the result of hand-manipulating, then dyeing the fabric on long tables in the batik factory in Bali rather than using wax resist. This hand manipulation creates flattering lines along the lengthwise grain.  Effect fabrics are a sophisticated alternative to solid colours and coordinate beautifully with other batik rayon fabrics. Sandstone Effect is a lovely sandy beige colour. It coordinates with Teal Purple Tanglewood, Sandstone Large Wings, Sandstone Small Wings, Sandstone Large Ginkgos, Sandstone Small Ginkgos.
