Product Description

Nothing feels as good as natural fibres in a shirt. This 100% cotton summer weight shirting has a nice smooth hand. This is a yarn dyed uneven plaid. It is not printed. The plaid repeats every 3-1/2" inches (8.25 cm). Plaids are very much on trend for button down shirts. Cut cuffs, pockets, yokes, plackets and sleeve plackets on the bias to avoid having to match up the plaid.

Care:

Gentle machine wash in warm water separately using gentle cleaner (Eucalan wash recommended). Dryer on low heat. Press with steam on cotton setting with teflon foot to avoid shine.

Sewing:

Universal or sharp needle 80/12. Quality cotton or poly thread such as Mettler Metrosene. Stitch length 2.5.

Pattern Layout:

Uneven plaid. Allow extra fabric to match plaid. Plaid repeat is 3-1/4" or 8.25cm.
