Create an elegant or casual one-of-a-kind garment with silks, rayon, velvets and other drapey fabrics. This simple style long coat is also ideal for narrow fabric kimono panels. The back mid-section inset is for showcasing special fabrics or embellishments. This pattern features Kayla's unique seaming techniques: rolled hem edge with multi-stitch zigzag connection; lined panels joined with satin stitch dots, bar tacks or beads. Standard sewing instructions are also included. The Paris Evening Coat has two sleeve styles: kimono and dolman; centre back inset and lapel.

Pattern includes all sizes (XS to XXL). Due to varying seaming techniques, pattern does not include seam allowances.

There are so many ways to modify this pattern. Here are a few:

Jacket: shorten to jacket length.

Vest: Remove the sleeves and shorten if you prefer.

Ties: Lengthen the lapels and leave unattached below bust for elegant ties. Add beading to weight the ties and add extra pizzaz!
