Loading... Please wait...Very loose-fitting, unlined jacket has extended shoulders and long two-piece sleeves. Back yoke and back sleeve are one piece with topstitching detail. Front folded lapel drops from shoulder seam to hem (wrong side of fabric shows). View A is hip length. View B is below hip length with angled patch pockets.
This pattern is a long-time favourite of fans of The Sewing Workshop. It originally came out as the Haiku Jacket in the long version with pockets. People started shortening it and so it was later reprinted as the Haiku Two with both short and long versions. This Haiku Two is very loose-fitting making it great for wearing over sweaters and turtlenecks. And because it is overly large you may want to sew a smaller size than you would normally. The lapels are formed by turning the fabric back, exposing the reverse side.
Try it in Ginkgo Jacquard - Black & Rust or Vintage Lace Style Jacquard - Black & White.
