Denim & Twill
Traditional denim is strong and durable constructed in a twill weave of 100% cotton with indigo and white yarns. Now denim comes in different weights, colours and fibres. Modern denim often contains polyester to reduce wrinkling and spandex for stretch. Denim can be used to make jeans, pants, skirts, coats and jackets. Light weight denim is suitable for shirts. It is a staple in just about everyone's wardrobe. Twill fabrics are similar to denim but they yarns are the same colour rather than a colour combined with white yarn.
