Tips for Online Ordering
Placing online orders can be confusing, especially if you are new to the process. Here are some helpful tips:
Fabric Minimums and Quantities: The minimum amount you may order of any fabric is .25 metres. The system will only accept quantities in whole numbers beginning with 1 and up to the amount that is available for purchase. To order partial quantities you must always order the next highest integer. Then specify in the Comments section on checkout the specific amount you want; e.g. to order 1.5 metres, select 2 as your quantity and type "I want 1.5 m of ..." in the Comments section. I will manually adjust the price so that you are only charged for 1.5 metres of that fabric. It is a bit awkward but many customers have done this with a satisfactory result.
Free Shipping: If the shipping address is located within Canada, orders of $100 before taxes, shipping and discounts are entitled to free shipping. If the shipping address is located within mainland USA, orders of $120 before taxes, shipping and discounts will be entitled to free shipping. This is subject to change if Canada Post raises its rates.
Shipping on Patterns: If a pattern (or sometimes two) can fit in a standard envelope, then it will be sent by Canada Post (Regular Mail). The shipping estimate will be reduced so that you only pay the actual postage. This is standard procedure. If you need your pattern faster, state in the Comments field on check out that you want the pattern(s) shipped by Expedited Parcel.
Earning and Redeeming Points: In order to participate in the Rewards Program you must have an account and be logged into your account.
Watch for Emails: Sometimes there will be a question about your order. An item might be out of stock (something that happens from time to time much as I try to keep inventory up-to-date) or have a previously unknown flaw. In order to ensure fast processing, please check your emails frequently after placing an order.
