Pattern Description:
View A: Unlined swing jacket has stand-up or rolled collar and
concealed three-button front placket, rotated side seams, and a
horizontal left bust dart and a diagonal right bust dart.
Two-piece long sleeves. Mid-hip length front drops to a curve in
back with a pleated and open vent. Stitched and faced hems. View
B: No back vent.

Design
Considerations:
View A calls for a
light to medium weight fabric because of the layers of fabric
involved in the vent. Asian dobby weave fabrics are
perfect as they are a shirt weight.
View B works for all
weights and you can use a heavier fabric such as
Kiev Brocade or
Asian fancy weaves. |
