COMMENTS FROM MAY 2009
-
This has been an inspiring experience that will
revolutionize my sewing.
-
I could go on and on but I’ll simply say that this was the
BEST sewing course I have ever taken.
-
Janet you are an exceptionally good teacher!
-
I really enjoyed Janet’s teaching, it was a great
experience, well worth the trip (from Calgary).
-
Thank you as well, for organizing such an enjoyable learning
experience as well as the extras... great food, a great
venue, fabric store, the discount.
-
This was a perfect facility, comfortable, lots of room, very
clean, and great food!
-
With much gratitude to you Janet, and also Catherine, for
planning a perfect venue and everything else you did to
ensure our success.
-
Thank you both for making this such a special learning
experience.
-
The venue for the course was the best I have every seen.
-
I've been sewing as long as I can remember but thanks to
this course my sewing results have improved greatly. I've
shed some bad habits and developed some terrific new
techniques. It was fun learning with Janet.
-
I love the Islander Method. I have been a custom clothier
for over 25 years, and wasn't sure I could easily change
years of sewing habits. Janet's class was comfortably paced
to learn and practice the new ways of handling your garment.
I was pleased to find I adapted quickly and easily to the
new methods. My seams are crisp and accurate, and best of
all, I have shaved hours off my construction time. I used
the Islander sewing method this past summer for my wedding
and formal dress clients with much success
