Distinctive Sewing
Supplies believes that participation in the fashion sewing
industry is essential to keeping it alive, thriving, interesting
and accessible to everyone. For that reason, we endeavour
to support local trade shows that give home fashion sewists like
you the opportunity to see first hand all the interesting
fabrics, patterns and sewing supplies on the market. We
also host lectures, trunk shows and demos to make attendance at
these events a learning, fun and worthwhile experience for trade
show attendees.

The Oakville Sewers Forum meets the third Tuesday of the month
from September to June at the
Glen Abbey Branch of the Oakville Public Library. The doors
open at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. continuing
to 8:30 p.m. Attendance is free for first time guests and
members. Non-member fees are $7.00 per visit. Come by and find out what it is all

Anyone interested in the art and craft of working
with fabric and thread is welcome to attend Oakville Sewers
Forum and
learn more about the group. The Oakville Sewers Forum
provides the opportunity for sewing enthusiasts to share ideas
with, and enjoy the camaraderie of, others of similar interests
while being updated on the latest tips and trends in sewing.

progressive non-profit network of local sewing clubs designed to
