Muted Plum Small Ginkgos
NEW IN 2007!
Linear rows of soft plum gingko leaves line up on a background
of tone-on-tone deep plum streaks. Images approximately 1.5
inches (3.75 cms) long.
This design is very special to Distinctive Sewing Supplies
because it is based on leaves from my ginkgo tree in the front
yard. Barb Alexander of The Batik Butik and I were
discussing design ideas back in Spring of 2006 and we talked
about the appeal of ginkgo leaves. Sometime later that
Spring, picked
and waxed some ginkgo leaves and mailed them to Barb.
Unknown to me, Barb had the leaves scanned and sent to Bali and
the Large Ginkgos and Small Ginkgos designs were created!
These fabric are so lovely, and I feel a special attraction to
them, of course.
It coordinates beautifully with
BR496 Muted Plum
Large Ginkgos.
