This splendid variegated sandy beige fabric is created by
hand-manipulating and dyeing in the batik fabric in Bali.
The hand dyeing process creates a
flattering lengthening effect. Seaweed fronds have
been batiked using wax resist to create a lovely one-way design.
This original design was created by Lois Ericson of Design &
Sew.
Sandstone Seaweed is new for Spring 2006 and a brand new
colourway. It coordinates beautifully with BR474
Sandstone
Effect.
