One of the “red” series. this print is dyed to match Red Leaf Dance and Red Yanti. Elegant female oriental figures are printed in black on a solid red background.  The figures range in height from 18 to 20 cm (7⅛ to 8 in.).

Design Considerations:

This is a one-way design that requires a "with nap" layout.  Avoid patterns with crosswise grain layout as the figures must "stand upright" on your garment.

Choose a sewing pattern that will showcase this larger scale design with a minimum of seams and darts.  An excellent choice is the Tabanan Sarong Dress; make the dress in Red Yanti and the sarong in Red Elegance.  Another great choice would be the Kusamba Tunic in Red Elegance with the Pant in the Red Yanti.
