In the past, when Barb (owner of The Batik Butik) and her former partner, Lee, wore sample garments made from these patterns at sewing shows, they received hundreds of requests for the patterns. Everyone commented on how comfortable their outfits looked! Happily, their friend in Bali, Frida, sold them the rights to produce a few of her simple, elegant garments (#101, 102, 103 & 104 were Frida-inspired).

Now Barb has her own design ideas she's transforming into comfortable, yet stylish wardrobe essentials with the help of fit expert, Kathleen Cheetham of Petite Plus Patterns (www.petitepluspatterns.com).

Professionally graded, The Bali Collection patterns are multi-sized from XS-XXXL. #101, 102 & 103 are "beginner friendly". And for experienced sewers these patterns offer the possibility of quick, comfortable garments they can either embellish or let the fabric speak for itself. Thorough guide sheets encourage beginner or novice sewers with abundant illustrations, while Zeke (the gecko mascot) provides tips for success with his own style of humor.
