Asymmetrical long-sleeved top features single
button closure, angled front hemline and irregular side slits.
Front wedge is perfect for showcasing a fabulous button,
contrasting fabric or your own embellishments. Back is cut to
swing slightly.
Ankle-length, mock-wrap skirt features full elastic waist,
centre back hem slit and side seam “points” that fall into
flattering folds near the knee. View A shows a slight bias angle
on the front overlay while the overlay for View B is vertical.
Suggested Fabrics:
Light to medium weight woven fabric with drape (such as our
rayon batik).
Notions: Thread
Top: One 2.5 cm (1 in)
button, two medium snaps, fusible interfacing suited to the
fabric chosen. Optional (but recommended): shoulder pads.
Skirt: 3.8 cm (1 1⁄2 in)
wide sew-through elastic (such as Ban-Rol™) to your waist
measurement.
Errata:
Despite the best
efforts, sometimes mistakes happen. There is an error in
the waistband on the skirt of the tissue pattern for the first
run of patterns.
Thankfully, this is easily corrected. Please scroll down
to the bottom of the page for full instructions on how to make
the corrections. Current patterns do not have this error.
This error is only in the first run of patterns. Check
before you cut your garment.
