Very loose-fitting through the thigh and seat,
these pants are extremely comfortable and easy to fit. The
crotch depth on these pants is meant to be lower than on more
fitted pants (in the case of View E, much lower). This is a
comfort and design feature that gives the pants an ethnic flair
and elegant drape.
Views A&B have a softly-gathered waistband,
side-seam pockets and two hem widths.
Views C&D feature tucks in the front and center
back for a more slender silhouette, side-seam pockets and two
hem widths.
View E is a one-seam pant with no pocket and
gathered waistband.
Suggested Fabrics:
Soft, drapey, light-to-medium weight woven or knit fabrics.
Notions: 3.5 cm (1-1/2
inch) wide sew-through sports elastic (such as BanRol).
