This is a quality medium weight dobby weave fabric from
Kona Bay Fabrics. The all-over cream scroll is printed on
red. This Japanese fabric is a perfect weight for a shirt
or kimono. This fabric is machine washable. It is
recommended that you prewash as cotton does shrink. At

Design Considerations:
The Sewing
Workshop Collection has a number of shirt patterns that
would work wonderfully. The
Zona Jacket with
the back vent calls for a light to medium weight fabric and this
would do the trick nicely.
Folkwear has
several Asian style patterns that work nicely with cotton dobby.
Japanese Field Clothing #112 or
Japanese
Michiyuki #143 are great choices.
