Product Description
This sturdy cotton corduroy has 8 wales (ribs) to the inch. Use it for jumpers, trousers, vests, totes, coats or home decor.
You can embellish it with embroidery or zigzag stitches in interesting threads as the straight lines are easy to follow.
Corduroy has a nap, so use a "with nap" pattern layout.

Care:
Gentle machine wash in warm water separately using gentle cleaner (Eucalan wash recommended). Dryer on low heat. Press lightly with steam on cotton setting on wrong side of fabric.
Sewing:
Universal or sharp needle 80/12. Quality cotton or poly thread such as Mettler Metrosene. Stitch length 2.5.
Pattern Layout:
Run hand along fabric to find direction of nap. Cut using "with nap" layout with smoothest nap running downward.
